Unlike traditional slime recipes that use borax or liquid starch, this version of slime still uses a common slime activator (saline solution) that contains boric acid and sodium borate which are members of the boron family. You will see in the photos that it is a very fluid material that will be lots of fun to play with just the same.īecause this homemade slime uses a unique recipe, I will go step by step with plenty of pictures! We do use our favorite slime activator which is a combination of baking soda and saline solution (not contact lens solution).
